BUSINESS
Statistics:
This course will introduce the student to the use of Statistics and Probability in the context of the real world. The student will explore statistical theory and practical applications in a variety of areas including physical and social science, public opinion and political science, business, economics, and medicine. Students will examine and interpret statistical information through applications, examples, projects, and exercises. Math Department approval is required. Prerequisite: All math requirements for graduation are satisfied.
Accounting:
This course covers basic accounting principles in the accounting cycle for the sole ownership of a business. Students will learn to record accounting transactions through the use of Journals and Ledgers that are necessary to complete financial statements used by businesses, creditors, and banks. This course uses practical applications and simulations. Math Department approval is required. Prerequisite: All math requirements for graduation are satisfied.
