AUCTION 2009

Dear Alumni and Friends of Kennedy,

 

As we enter the next generation in Kennedy Catholic’s history, much like the famous “Star Trek” series that our theme of Kennedy: the Next Generation evokes, we too, are exploring new frontiers as a private school. With Father Vaillancourt leading the way and a new board of directors guiding us, our mission continues to be the education and development of the young men and women of Northern Westchester and Putnam. Your support of our 2009 Auction will help ensure our success; indeed, your children’s success, as they seek out strange new worlds and civilizations known today as college campuses.

 

All corny connections aside, the future is now for Kennedy Catholic, and we have an incredible opportunity to take her to the next level as the premier Catholic, college-preparatory school in the area. Hence, your support of our 28^th annual auction, Kennedy: the Next Generation on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m. is all the more imperative.

 

Over the past few years, our alumni and parents have taken Kennedy’s auction to even greater heights with donations to our ABC, or Above and Beyond Committee. I hope that you will continue and add to that legacy. Below is a link to our 2009 Wish List with prize ideas ranging from $25 to more than $5,000 in value. You can purchase items as a donation, solicit them from local vendors, or simply make a donation so that we can purchase items in your name. All benefactors will be listed in our Auction Booklet, unless otherwise requested.

 

The steering committee is already hard at work preparing this year’s event. Among the new twists up our sleeves is the addition of a front parking spot, as well as men’s and women’s class rings, to the Live Auction. Plus, we’ve got a new auctioneer this year; he’s an Equity actor, choreographer and director, and he’s all ours this fall. And at $20 in advance, there’s no reason not to join us for a wonderful night out. Parents, you can even use your Fair Share Coupons!

 

Thank you in advance for your support of Kennedy: the Next Generation. Thank you for your continued encouragement and prayers as we move forward under a new model. Most of all, thank you for helping us to move forward into the next generation of Kennedy Catholic.
