PRESIDENT'S DINNERTable Reservations Due April 17Join Kennedy Catholic for the 2008 President’s Dinner at Colonial Terrace in Cortlandt Manor on May 1. The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Reservations can be made by downloading the Invitation & Reply Cards below. Commemorative Journal Ads are also available. Kindly RSVP no later than Thursday, April 17.
This year’s Hall of Fame inductees are Kevin ’72 and Nancy Dwyer. Together, the couple has spearheaded all four Kennedy Catholic Classic Golf Outings, and Kevin also chaired an Annual Fund Campaign. Equally as instrumental has been Nancy, who has volunteered her time to numerous fundraisers as a parent, most notably the annual Auction and previous President’s Dinners. Kevin and Nancy are the proud parents of Daniel ’07, as well as University of Connecticut students Heather and Kelly.
The 2008 President’s Dinner will also feature two Divine Compassion Medal recipients in Monsignor Anthony Marchitelli, who served as principal of KCHS from 1996-2003, and the Rev. James Teague, who is presently the Kennedy Catholic chaplain. Sixteen select seniors will also be presented with Certificates of Excellence for significant contributions to the greater Kennedy Catholic community over the past four years. This year’s recipients are Lindsay Burke, Brian Coughlin, John Delfino, Melissa Imprescia, Christina Kendzor, Danielle Kloster, Brittany Lloyd, Nick Lopilato, Kelly Mertens, Stephen Murray, Emily Novak, John Oros, Ellen Ring, Erich Staib, Gabby Sussman and Nicole Visovsky.
And finally, a special presentation of the Sister Mary Christopher Tree of Life will be made to longtime math teacher—55 and counting, to be exact—Sister Mary Christopher O’Toole. Following the dinner, this bronze tree will be “planted” in the KCHS Commons on the wall directly across from St. Mary’s Chapel. If you would like to honor Sister Christopher with a personalized leave, acorn, stone or miniature tree on her Tree of Life, please download the 2007-2008 Annual Fund Brochure below and fax your message to (914) 509-1401 or contact the Advancement Office directly at (914) 232-5061 Ext. 107.
