MEN'S VARSITY

Co-head boy coaches Jacob Bergmeier and Larry Elliot were extremely pleased with this season. The boys posted a perfect 7-0 duel meet record with Luke Mannion leading the team to a victory in all seven races. Both coaches are overjoyed that they will be returning 15 of their 18 numbers. Cross country is a tough sport, make no mistake about it. Bergmeier states that Cross Country is all about what you have in your heart, not just what God gives you. “It’s all about believing in yourself and learning to deal with the pain.” Don’t let the fact that cross country can be a punishing sport fool you, both coaches say that their number one goal is to make the sport as fun as it can be.
