NAZARETH FARM

Last year's Naz Farmers included Ms. DiSenso, Mr. Casella, Stephen Murray '08, Richard Podlovits '08, Kelly Foster '08, Mr. Malecki, Nicole Bauso '08, Stacey Schwenk '08, Caroline Craig '08 and Danielle Kloster '08.
 
The weeklong retreat to Nazareth Farm in West Virginia take place during Mid-Winter Break (Feb. 16-21) and will be open to Kennedy Catholic seniors; however, juniors may apply for consideration if there are spots available.
 
Those interested in volunteering are required to have the following:
 
By January 5:
  • Completed their Kennedy Catholic Christian Community Service hours (seniors only)
  • Be in good standing with both the Attendance and Dean’s Offices
  • Have submitted the names of three faculty members as character references
  • Have written and submitted a 1-2 page essay (see below for details)
If Accepted, by January 30:
Essay
 
Write a 1-2 page essay (no longer than 3 pages) on what these four words mean to you and, more importantly, what role they play in your life: Service, Community, Prayer and Simplicity.
 
Please have essay and references to Mr. Casella by Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at the latest (earlier is preferred).
