The following is a sample college inquiry letter which students may use when contacting colleges to request information. In addition, most colleges have web sites that give students the opportunity to request information about their school online. Whichever method you choose to use, begin contacting colleges in the spring of junior year.

IN ADDITION TO AN INQUIRY LETTER YOU CAN:

  • Pick up information at any college campus visit you make.

  • Stop by the college center at Kennedy.

  • Attend college fairs throughout the County.

  • Take advantage when Kennedy invites college representatives to campus (times, dates and colleges are posted September-December).

  • Call admission offices to request mailings.

  • Download applications via computer, through college websites.
