Proceeds from your order are going to be given to Kennedy Catholic for the Yearbook Committee and Kennedy Live to make a few improvements. Ivy Insiders SAT Prep Course

The Kennedy Catholic guidance department announces the second annual Ivy Insiders summer SAT Prep Course instructed by U Penn rising senior, Caitlyn Sommers. The course will run from July 23th-August 13th and will be held at Kennedy. The tuition will be $599. Private tutoring is also available beginning at $999. New Nurse Approved

MRS. JONES RETIRING AFTER 25 YEARS

Mrs. Judy Haight, RN, has been approved by the Somers Board of Education as the full-time school nurse at Kennedy Catholic effective Sept. 1. She will be taking the reins from Mrs. Mary Jones, RN, who has announced her retirement after more than 25 years of service to the Kennedy community.

Mrs. Haight has been a substitute school nurse for five years and comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience both in nursing and education. We warmly welcome her to the Kennedy family.

Mrs. Jones will continue to work at Kennedy on a part-time basis as a substitute nurse and nurse assistant when student needs warrant it. She will be at Kennedy for the first day of tryouts and will assist with the orientation and transition phase for the new nurse. The Kennedy community thanks Mrs. Jones for all of her kindness and dedication and give its best wishes on her retirement.

Attention Class Of 2011

The yearbook committee asks that each senior submit the following items by September 17th:

1) Senior quote
2) Candid picture
3) Baby picture

Please email the items to yearbook@kennedycatholic.org. Both pictures should be saved a a .jpeg file and sent in an email clearly stating the student's name. Please be sure that the original pictures are high quality and large enough (it is easier to shrink them down, rather than stretch them larger). NO FACEBOOK PICTURES!

Please note: All three items are required. Inappropriate quotes or pictures will not be accepted. If you have any questions, please email them to yearbook@kennedycatholic.org.

Also, if you have any pictures from school events throughout the year that you feel should be included, please email them as well.

Class Of 2011 Senior Protraits

Senior portrait retakes will be available Tuesday, September 7th, at Kennedy Catholic from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. This will be the last possible date to sit for your pictures. You will be receiving an appointment by mail from Davis Studios if you did not take them during spring scheduling. If you received your pictures, but would like a retake, YOU MUST contact Davis Studios in order for them to schedule an appointment for you on September 7th at Kennedy, or at the studio on a different day.

Remember, you must select one picture with Davis Studio either by mail, phone or online, BY SEPTEMBER 20th, for it to be included in the senior pages of the yearbook. If you do not choose a pose, Davis Studios will be forced to make the "best" choice for you.

College Trip To Rhode Island Nov. 4 - 7

APPLICATION PACKET NOW AVAILABLE

Colleges that will be visited are: Providence College, Brown University, Bryant College, Salve Regina College, Roger Williams University, Johnson and Wales University, and the University of Rhode Island.

The trip is open to all Sophomores and Juniors, and there are still spots available. A $100 refundable deposit is required to hold a spot. The total cost is $599 and includes lodging, transportation by coach bus, breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, college tours and all nightly activities. Download the Registration Packet today! Final payment will be due by the end of September.
